Mindfulness in Schools

A classroom-based mindfulness curriculum for pre-teens and teenagers

.b (pronounced dot be) is a 10-lesson mindfulness curriculum designed for pre-teens and teenagers by the Mindfulness in Schools Project (MISP).

If you are new to mindfulness and would like to know more about the benefits for children, please have a look here at this easy-to-read, short summary created by MISP.

The classroom-based curriculum is offered formally as a series of lessons, each one lasting between 40 – 60 minutes. Each lesson teaches a specific mindfulness skill that can be integrated into a child’s daily life.

The lessons are fun and engaging! Feedback from students who take part in .b is very positive. You can have a read here to see what past students have to say.

This 10-week course is structured in the following way:

  • Week 1. An Introduction to Mindfulness
  • Week 2: Playing Attention
  • Week 3: Taming the Animal Mind
  • Week 4: Recognising Worry
