Sometimes life feels out of control like a roller coaster ride and it is a valuable skill to be able to turn to the breath to find our inner calm.
I have uploaded a new guided visualisation called The Roller Coaster to the Mindful Minis YouTube channel . This guided visualisation takes children on an imaginary adventure in a funfair. While experiencing the excitement of riding the roller coaster, children are asked to notice their breathing and beating hearts.
The visualisation then guides children in how to slow down their breathing and find their inner calm.
